Cameron Williams, Neil Bryant II Killed in Truck Accident in Winter Haven, FL

Winter Haven, FL — August 31, 2023, Cameron Williams and Neil Bryant II were killed in a semi-truck collision on Recker Highway near Commercial Boulevard in Winter Haven, FL.

Authorities indicate that on August 31, a fatal accident occurred when two vehicles collided in Winter Haven for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened shortly before 2:20 in the afternoon.

Investigators say a Buick suddenly lost control on the roadway, causing it to leave the southbound lane and hit a semi-truck on Recker Highway. Sources say the collision caused both vehicles to crash into a pole, sending one person out of the car upon impact.

Officials say Buick occupants Cameron Williams, 19, and 18-year-old Neil Bryant II suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The semi-truck driver reportedly sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital and then discharged. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
