Patricia Fischer Shaw Killed, Two Injured in Truck Accident on Highway 36 in Coryell County, TX

Coryell County, TX — August 9, 2023, Patricia Fischer Shaw was killed, and two others were injured in a truck accident on Hwy. 36 in Coryell County.

Sources report Ms. Shaw was a passenger in a Dodge Ram 1500 as it was northbound on Texas 236 and crossing an intersection with Hwy. 36 when the pickup truck reportedly collided with an eastbound Ford F-350 and its trailer on Hwy. 36. The initial crash purportedly forced the Ram 1500 to drive northeast out of the intersection and collide with a Ford F-250, also pulling a trailer, as it was attempting to make a right turn from Texas 236 onto Hwy. 36.

The driver of the Ram 1500 reportedly suffered serious injuries, while Patricia Shaw suffered fatal injuries. Officials report the driver of the F-30 also suffered minor injuries, and the driver of the F-250 was uninjured.

Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
