Authorities said in public statements that 31-year-old Mary Furey King and a 38-year-old man were in a Honda Civic said to be going westbound along F.M. 306. At a private driveway ahead, it appears that a Land Rover going eastbound failed to yield making a left turn, pulling into the path of Furey King's vehicle. This resulted in the vehicles colliding. A westbound motorcycle then crashed into the Honda following the initial collision.
