Jonathan Edward Kelley, Samantha Kelley, 1 Injured in Truck Accident in Wilson County, TX

Wilson County, TX — July 23, 2023, Jonathan Kelley, Samantha Kelley, and another were injured after a semi-truck accident at 5:36 p.m. along Highway 123.

Authorities said in their statements that the crash happened at the intersection of Highway 123 and U.S. Highway 87.

According to preliminary statements, 45-year-old Jonathan Kelley and 40-year-old Samantha Kelley were in a Chevy Traverse which was reportedly traveling westbound on the U.S. 87 exit ramp. At Highway 123, it appears a northbound tractor-trailer crashed into the driver's side of the Traverse. Following the collision, the 18-wheeler ran off the northeast corner of the crossing, and the Traverse was pushed off the northwest corner.

As a result of the crash, it appears both Jonathan Kelley and the truck driver had incapacitating injuries. Authorities described Samantha Kelley's injuries as non-incapacitating. Currently, additional details about the crash cannot be confirmed without further investigations.
