One Killed, Three Injured in Semi-Truck Accident in Tampa, FL

Tampa, FL — August 31, 2023, a person was killed, and three were injured in a semi-truck collision near Adamo Drive and North 45th Street in Tampa, FL.

Authorities indicate that on August 31, a fatal crash occurred when a semi-truck and a Mitsubishi collided in Tampa for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened shortly before noon.

Investigators say an eastbound semi-truck struck a Mitsubishi as the car attempted to turn left onto Adamo Drive. Sources say the impact forced the semi-truck into a roadside ditch.

Officials confirmed a woman, whose name has not been released, was killed in the accident. The Mitsubishi driver and a child reportedly sustained life-threatening injuries. A minor passenger was also injured but is in stable condition. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
