Henry Eugene New Killed in Truck Accident on U.S. Hwy. 281 in Blanco County, TX

Blanco County, TX — August 9, 2023, Henry Eugene New was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 12:17 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 281 in Blanco County.

Officials report the victim's motorcycle and a Kenworth tractor-trailer were traveling north on the highway when the motorcycle allegedly collided with the rear driver's side of the trailer.

Mr. New suffered fatal injuries in the accident.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
