Fausto Rodriguez Killed in Alleged Road-Rage Accident on Cross Bronx Expressway in New York, NY

New York, NY — August 25, 2023, Fausto Rodriguez was killed in an alleged road rage, hit-and-run accident around 11 p.m. on Cross Bronx Expy. in New York.

According to investigators Mr. Rodriguez and a friend were traveling home in a Honda Accord when their vehicle was allegedly rear-ended by a Ford Edge. Authorities believe both vehicles pulled off to the side of the road, four people in the Ford Edge exited the vehicle and ran from the crash scene, and Mr. Rodriguez called 911.

Officials say a few minutes later one of the people from the Ford Edge then returned in a Toyota Rav4 with someone who had not been involved in the initial crash. An argument reportedly broke out and Fausto Rodriguez was shot and killed

Other sources report that Mr. Rodriguez was not involved in the initial accident and had arrived to help the crash victims and was shot while he was recording the damage to both vehicles.

Officials have not released any further details.
