Amanda D. Tyler Killed in Pedestrian-Car Accident on N. Valley Pike in Rockingham County, VA

Rockingham County, VA — August 30, 2023, Amanda D. Tyler was killed in a collision with a passenger car around 9 p.m. N. Valley Pike in Rockingham County.

Sources report the victim was crossing N. Valley Pike, just north of the intersection with Smithland Rd when a northbound Volkswagen Jetta stuck her.

Ms. Tyler suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
