Roy Lawrence Dickerman Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident on F.M. 829 in Dawson County, TX

Dawson County, TX — August 29, 2023, Roy Lawrence Dickerman was killed in a single-vehicle crash around 6:30 p.m. on F.M. 829 in Dawson County.

According to investigators, the 63-year-old victim was heading north on F.M. 829, about five miles north of Patricia, TX, when his motorcycle somehow veered off the road, drove into a roadside ditch, and overturned.

Mr. Dickerman was purportedly pronounced deceased at the accident site.

Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
