Driver Injured in Semi-Truck Accident on Interstate 5 in Artois, CA

Artois, CA — August 24, 2023, a driver was injured in a semi-truck collision on Interstate 5 near County Road 33 in Artois, CA.

Authorities say that on August 24, a crash occurred when two semi-trucks collided on Interstate 5 for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 3:08 in the afternoon in Artois.

Investigators say a semi-truck traveling along Interstate 5 slowed down for traffic in the southbound lane when another semi hit it. Officials say the driver of the struck semi was not hurt in the accident, but the other truck driver suffered injuries. The driver's injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.
