Orange, TX — August 30, 2023, a pedestrian was killed in a vehicle accident on Interstate 10 East, near mile marker 877 in Orange, TX.

Authorities indicate that on August 30, a fatal accident occurred when two vehicles struck a pedestrian in Orange. According to reports, the accident happened around 4:40 in the morning.

Investigators say a Toyota SUV struck the pedestrian while traveling east along Interstate 10. Sources say the pedestrian was struck a second time by a tractor-trailer going in the same direction. Police say the truck fled the scene.

Officials confirmed the pedestrian, whose name has not been released, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.
