Spartanburg County, SC — August 29, 2023, Andres Perez-Lopez was killed in a tractor-trailer crash on South Carolina Highway 14 near Interstate 85 in Spartanburg County, SC.

Authorities indicate that on August 29, a fatal crash occurred when a Ford van and a tractor-trailer collided on SC Highway 14 in Spartanburg County. According to reports, the accident happened at approximately 8:15 at night.

Investigators say the Ford van was traveling west when it made contact with the truck. Sources say the tractor-trailer was making a turn when the Ford struck it.

Officials confirmed that Ford passenger, 28-year-old Andres Perez-Lopez, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.
