Ernesto Cruz Injured in Car Accident in Williamson County, TX

Williamson County, TX — July 10, 2023, Ernesto Cruz was injured following a single-vehicle accident at around 7:28 p.m. along F.M. 972.

Investigators said in their statements that the fatal incident took place along Farm-to-Market 972 in the area of the Glenwood Drive intersection.

According to officials, 31-year-old Ernesto Cruz was said to be the driver of a Jeep Liberty reportedly going westbound along F.M. 972. Somehow, the vehicle lost control, causing it to go left of center. The vehicle then careened off the side of the road where it repeatedly overturned.

Cruz was said by authorities to have sustained incapacitating injuries as a result of the crash. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Right now, no further information about the accident can be confirmed.
