James Carl Webb Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — August 4, 2023, James Carl Webb sustained fatal injuries as the result of an apparent hit and run accident at 2:45 a.m. on I-35E.

Investigations at this time indicate that the collision took place along the northbound lanes of the interstate in the area of East 8th Street.

According to authorities, 58-year-old James Carl Webb was walking at the time, apparently in the area of northbound I-35E. Due to events not clear right now, a vehicle struck Webb. That vehicle then continued driving and left the scene.

As a result of the collision, Webb sustained injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal. There were no other reported victims. Right now, there is no available description of a suspect vehicle or driver. Investigations are ongoing.
