Jason Chapa Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Fort Worth, TX

Fort Worth, TX — August 3, 2023, Jason Chapa was fatally injured as the result of a pedestrian accident at around 4:45 a.m. along Azle Avenue

Preliminary information about the fatal accident suggests that it occurred along the westbound lane of Azle Avenue near the Sherman Avenue intersection.

At this time, details from the authorities indicate that Jason Michael Chapa was walking at the time. It appears that Chapa was attempting to cross lanes of travel at the time when a westbound Ford Expedition struck Chapa.

Due to this collision, Chapa sustained fatal injuries. there did not appear to be any other reported injuries. Right now, authorities have not mentioned any pending charges or citations. Additional details leading up to the collision are unclear at this time.
