Aaron Wayne Smith Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Tarrant County, TX

Tarrant County, TX — July 31, 2023, Aaron Wayne Smith was fatally injured as the result of a single-vehicle accident after midnight along F.M. 730.

Preliminary information about the accident reported by authorities indicated that the incident took place at approximately 12:58 a.m. along Farm-to-Market 730 near Portwood Road.

In initial statements on the accident, authorities said that 45-year-old Aaron Wayne Smith was the driver of a GMC pickup said to be going northbound along F.M. 730. For reasons which are not currently confirmed, the vehicle veered off the left side of the road. There, authorities say the GMC crashed into a tree.

As a result of the collision, authorities say that Aaron Smith succumbed to fatal injuries. Authorities did not indicate any other passengers or motorists being involved. Investigations into the fatal crash are ongoing at this time.
