Alondra Soriano Rojas Killed, Dulce Rivera Soriano, Paloma Soriano Injured in Car Accident in El Paso, TX

El Paso, TX — August 26, 2023, Alondra Soriano Rojas was killed and Dulce Rivera Soriano and Paloma Soriano were injured in a car accident on Loop 375.

Investigators said that the incident took place at approximately 12:47 a.m. along Loop 375 in the area of the Zaragoza Road exit.

According to officials, 37-year-old Dulce Rivera Soriano, 40-year-old Alondra Soriano Rojas, and 34-year-old Paloma Soriano were in a Chevy Tahoe reportedly going eastbound along Loop 375. While traveling on the highway, it appears a Chevy Sonic allegedly going at high speeds crashed into the Tahoe. This caused the Tahoe to lose control, and it careened into the guardrail. The Tahoe then overturned.

As a result of the crash, Soriano Rojas succumbed to fatal injuries. Rivera Soriano and Paloma Soriano were said to have injuries resulting from the accident. The driver of the Chevy Sonic is accused of being intoxicated at the time of the crash, according to statements from El Paso Police officials. There appear to be pending charges for intoxication manslaughter relating to the death of Soriano Rojas. Right now, the incident remains under investigation.
