Three Firefighters Injured in Truck/Car Accident in St. Louis, MO

St. Louis, MO — August 8, 2023, three firefighters were injured in a truck/car accident on Old Halls Ferry Road near North Lindbergh Boulevard in St. Louis, MO.

Authorities indicate that on August 8, an accident occurred when a fire truck and a car collided in St. Louis. According to reports, the crash happened sometime at night.

Investigators say the firefighters were responding to a call when a car pulled in front of the firetruck and caused it to veer off Old Halls Ferry Road. Sources say the firetruck went off the road and crashed into a tree.

Officials confirmed three firefighters suffered injuries in the crash. Two firefighters have since been discharged from the hospital. The condition of the remaining injured firefighter is unknown.

No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
