Gilberto Elizondo Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident in Clute, TX

Brazoria County, TX — July 12, 2023, Gilberto Elizondo sustained injuries as the result of a single-vehicle car accident at around 12:35 a.m. on Highway 332.

According to preliminary details released by authorities, the incident took place along Highway 332 near the intersection of Dixie Drive.

Investigations at this time show that 29-year-old Gilberto Elizondo was in a Nissan Sentra that was reportedly going eastbound along the highway. Somehow, that vehicle left the roadway to the left, hit the median barrier, then careened off the right side of the highway. There, the vehicle then crashed onto the feeder road.

Elizondo was said to have incapacitating injuries as a result of the accident. There did not appear to be anyone else involved. Right now, the cause of the crash can't be confirmed.
