16-Year-Old Killed, Harold Ray Rash Injured in Car Accident on Highway 19 in Henderson County, TX

Henderson County, TX — August 27, 2023, a 16-year-old was killed, and Harold Ray Rash was injured in a car accident in the evening hours on Highway 19 in Henderson County.

According to sources, a 16-year-old from Murchison was driving one vehicle while Mr. Rash was driving another when the crash occurred. Authorities report one vehicle was traveling east on Highway 19 when it somehow lost control and collided with the other vehicle. Authorities have not said who was in the vehicle that allegedly lost control.

The 16-year-old suffered fatal injuries, and the severity of Harold Ray Rash's injuries has not been released.

Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
