Cash Mullins, Cutter Watson Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Lubbock County, TX

Lubbock County, TX — August 27, 2023, Cash Mullins and Cutter Watson were killed due to a motorcycle accident at around 1:30 a.m. along County Road 2000.

Preliminary statements from the Texas Department of Public Safety indicate the incident took place a few miles west of New Deal.

The cause of the crash remains unconfirmed at this time. Authorities said only that 20-year-old Cash Mullins was going southbound on a motorcycle along C.R. 2000 while 19-year-old Cutter Watson was reportedly going northbound. In a series of events unclear, the vehicles collided with one another, ejecting both riders.

It appears that both Mullins and Watson succumbed to fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Right now, there are no additional details confirmed about the factors surrounding the crash. Investigations are ongoing.
