2 Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on Turner Turnpike near Kellyville, OK

Creek County, OK — August 29, 2023, two people sustained fatal injuries due to a semi-truck accident at around 3:30 a.m. along Interstate 44.

According to information released by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the incident took place just outside Kellyville along the Turner Turnpike.

Right now, exact information about the crash are still under investigation. Details suggest that a semi-truck was going along westbound lanes of the turnpike at the time. Somehow, that truck allegedly crashed into the back of a car, wedging the car beneath the front of the semi.

As a result of the collision, two people sustained fatal injuries. One other person sustained injuries which were described as critical. No other injuries were specified. At this time, the factors leading up to the crash are still under investigation.
