Man Killed, Stephanie Martinez Possibly Injured in Car Accident in El Paso County, TX

El Paso County, TX — July 30, 2023, a man was killed and Stephanie Martinez may have been hurt due to a car accident at around 6:05 a.m. along Eastlake Boulevard.

According to preliminary details about the fatal accident, it happened in the area of the Eastlake Boulevard and Rojas Drive intersection near Sparks.

It appears that a 28-year-old man was in a Ford Focus that was reportedly traveling northbound along Eastlake Boulevard. At Rojas Drive, that vehicle somehow collided with a Kia Seltos reportedly stopped at a red light.

Due to this crash, the unidentified driver of the Ford sustained injuries which proved to be fatal. The other driver, identified as 29-year-old Stephanie Alexandra Martinez, reportedly had "possible" injuries. There were no other individuals listed by authorities. At this time, exact circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation.
