One Killed, Three Injured in Truck Accident on Highway 86 in Denver, CO

Denver, CO — August 27, 2023, a person was killed, and three were injured in a semi-truck accident on Highway 86 in Douglas County, Denver, CO.

Authorities indicate that on August 27, a fatal accident occurred when a sedan and a pickup truck collided on Highway 86 in Douglas County. According to reports, the crash happened shortly before 11:15 in the morning.

Investigators say the sedan attempted to pull onto the Highway heading west when an eastbound truck was oncoming. Sources say the vehicles collided, killing the sedan driver and injuring a passenger. The truck driver and another occupant also reportedly sustained severe injuries.

Officials confirmed the sedan driver, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. No further information was released.
