Destiny Lynn Johnson Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on Interstate 65 in Johnson County, IN

Johnson County, IN — August 27, 2023, Destiny Lynn Johnson was killed in a semi-truck crash on southbound Interstate 65 in Johnson County, IN.

Authorities say that on August 27, a fatal crash occurred when a vehicle and a semi-truck collided in Johnson County for unknown reasons. According to reports, the accident happened around 4:30 in the morning.

Police say a Malibu and a semi-truck collided on southbound Interstate 65, which caused the car to burst into flames at the scene. Investigators suggest the Malibu rear-ended the semi-truck, which was parked on the shoulder of the Interstate.

Officials confirmed the Malibu driver, 23-year-old Destiny Lynn Johnson, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Police are still investigating the accident.
