Jose Luis Rebollar Osorio, Avelina Osorio Lopez Killed, Five Injured in Car Accident on 183A Toll Road in Leander, TX

UPDATE (August 29, 2023): Additional details released by authorities identified the two people killed in the crash as Jose Luis Rebollar Osorio, 35, and Avelina Osorio Lopez, 69. The circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation.

Leander, TX — August 26, 2023, two were killed, and five were injured in a car accident on 183A Toll Road at Hero Way in Leander, TX.

Authorities say that on August 26, a fatal accident occurred when two vehicles collided on 183A Toll Frontage Road and Hero Way in Leander. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 11:30 in the morning. Few details have been released at this time.

Officials confirmed two front-seat occupants in one of the vehicles suffered fatal injuries. Five others were reportedly injured and taken to area hospitals for medical attention. It is unclear if those injured were occupants in the other vehicle. Police say the other vehicle's driver left the crash scene and has yet to be located.

No further information is available. Authorities are continuing to investigate the events that led to the accident.
