Three Killed, Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 35 in Carter County, OK

Carter County, OK — August 25, 2023, three were killed, and three were injured in a five-vehicle collision on southbound Interstate 35, north of Springer, in Carter County, OK.

Authorities indicate that on August 25, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, five vehicles, including a semi-truck and a pickup truck, collided on Interstate 35 in Carter County. Sources say the crash happened shortly before 4:00 in the afternoon.

Investigators have not determined the cause of the accident. Officials confirmed the semi-truck driver and two pickup truck occupants suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Names and additional information have not been released at this time. Sources say at least three others were injured; two were taken to an area hospital.
