Houston Man Injured in Hit-and-run Accident on I-35 in New Braunfels, TX

New Braunfels, TX — July 22, 2023, a Houston man sustained injuries due to an apparent hit-and-run truck accident at around 3:00 a.m. along I-35.

Most recent information released by authorities says that the incident took place along southbound lanes of the interstate near F.M. 306.

Details at this time suggest that a 27-year-old Houston man was walking along the outside shoulder of the interstate. While there, it appears a tractor-trailer struck the man, then continued driving and left the scene.

The man was said to have incapacitating injuries as a result of the collision. There were no other reported injuries mentioned in statements. At this time, it's unclear if authorities ever made contact with the truck driver allegedly involved in the accident.
