Jose Luis Campos Killed in Car Accident in Missouri City, TX

Fort Bend County, TX — January 5, 2023, Jose Luis Campos was fatally injured due to a car accident at approximately 10:22 p.m. along Bison Drive.

Authorities said that the incident took place in the area of Bison Drive in Buffalo Run Park. The details at this time claim that 20-year-old Jose Luis Campos was a passenger in a Dodge Charger that was going southbound exiting the park. It appears the vehicle somehow went off-road partially, straddling the curb. The vehicle then apparently crashed into a sign.

The collision resulted in Campos sustaining injuries that ultimately proved to be fatal. The driver of the vehicle, unidentified at this time, did not appear to have any injuries. Right now, the cause of the crash cannot be confirmed pending investigations.
