Juan Socoy Alvarez Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Webster, TX

Harris County, TX — July 23, 2023, Juan Socoy Alvarez was killed following a pedestrian accident at around 9:20 p.m. along El Camino Real.

Information about the accident was released by authorities and Harris County officials, whose statements show the collision happening off the corner of El Camino Real and El Camino Village Drive, just off NASA Road 1.

According to officials, 39-year-old Juan Socoy Alvarez was on foot at the time. It appears Alvarez was along northbound lanes of El Camino Real at the time when a Toyota Corolla reportedly struck him. That driver reportedly stayed at the scene.

As a result of the collision, Alvarez succumbed to fatal injuries. There did not appear to be any other injuries resulting from the accident. Authorities did not report any pending charges or citations. No further information can be confirmed right now.
