Cesar Bosco Mendoza Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in Bastrop County, TX

Bastrop County, TX — July 23, 2023, Cesar Bosco Mendoza was killed following a hit-and-run accident at around 3:23 a.m. along Farm-to-Market 672.

According to preliminary public information from the authorities, the collision apparently occurred in the area of F.M. 672 mile marker 558.

It appears that 23-year-old Cesar Bosca Mendoza of Lockhart was on foot at the time and walking along northeast F.M. 672. Due to events not entirely clear, a vehicle going northeast struck Mendoza, then continued driving and left the scene.

Mendoza sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. It appears authorities have not been able to identify the driver involved in the accident. Investigations are ongoing.
