One Killed in Car Accident on NB I-35 Near Hwy. 290 in Austin, TX

Austin, TX — August 21, 2023, one person was killed in a car accident, in the early morning hours, on northbound Interstate 35 just past exit 238B in Austin.

According to reports, the crash happened near Highway 290 and led to the closure of all northbound lanes of I-35 until 11:30 a.m. The details of the incident remain under investigation, and it's unknown whether the crash involved more than one car.

One person was killed in the accident, and the identity of the victim has not been disclosed.

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
