It appears from preliminary statements that a 53-year-old Liberty man was in a GMC truck that was part of a road construction crew actively working in the area. Somehow, an approaching tractor-trailer apparently failed to control speed approaching the construction crew, crashing into the back of the GMC truck.

Due to the collision, the Liberty man had apparently incapacitating injuries. The unidentified driver of the tractor-trailer reportedly had non-incapacitating injuries. There were no other confirmed injuries. At this time, additional details about the crash remain unconfirmed.
