In currently available information, it appears 29-year-old Emily Garcia was a passenger in a Chevy Silverado that was said to be exiting a driveway onto Player Street. While doing so, it appears a southbound Nissan somehow left its lane, went onto the driveway, and crashed into the Chevy.

Documents indicate that Garcia had bodily injuries as a result of the collision. There were no other confirmed injuries. Authorities at this time allege that the Nissan failed to stop and render aid and also may have been under the influence of alcohol. There appear to be pending charges for the former allegation.
