Crystal Swanson Wolf Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Bell County, TX

Bell County, TX — August 21, 2023, Crystal Swanson Wolf was killed as the result of a pedestrian accident at around 4:50 a.m. along U.S. Highway 190.

Authorities said in their preliminary statements that the incident took place along the westbound lanes of the highway near F.M. 93.

It appears from currently available information that 37-year-old Crystal Swanson Wolf was walking at the time in the area of westbound lanes of the highway. Details suggest Swanson Wolf may have been attempting to wave down traffic, but an approaching Chevy Silverado struck her along the left lane of travel.

As a result of the collision, Swanson Wolf sustained fatal injuries. There were no other injuries. It appears that the driver remained at the scene and spoke with authorities. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
