James Hernandez Killed in Car Accident in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — July 27, 2023, James Hernandez was killed as the result of a single-vehicle accident at around 1:51 a.m. along Loop 410.

According to preliminary investigations, the incident happened in the area of SE Loop 410 and East Chavaneaux Road.

Authorities said that 38-year-old James Hernandez was the driver of a GMC Yukon that was going eastbound along the main lanes of the highway. For reasons which can't be confirmed right now, it appears the vehicle somehow lost control, causing the vehicle to careen onto the median separating mains lanes from the access road. There, the vehicle apparently overturned.

As a result of the accident, Hernandez sustained fatal injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the fatal wreck. Details remain unclear pending investigations.
