Cary Don Griggs Killed, Carlea Paige Bullock Injured in Crash on F.M. 1208 in Midland County, TX

Midland County, TX — August 21, 2023, Cary Don Griggs was killed and Carlea Paige Bullock was injured in a crash around 5:30 a.m. on F.M. 1208, located about nine miles west of Stanton.

According to reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers responded to the scene of a single-vehicle crash. Mr. Griggs had reportedly been traveling north on F.M. 1208 on a 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he allegedly lost control and collided with a curb.

Griggs was purportedly pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Carlea Paige Bullock, a passenger in the motorcycle, reportedly sustained injuries and was transported to an Odessa hospital. Ms. Bullock's condition is reported to be stable.

As the investigation continues, further details about the crash may come to light.
