Afshin Mirhosseini Killed in Car Accident on Calender Rd. in Arlington, TX

Arlington, TX — August 20, 2023, Afshin Mirhosseini was killed at approximately 1:12 a.m., a single-vehicle wreck on Calender Road in Arlington.

According to investigators, the victim's 2021 Toyota Tacoma was negotiating a curve on Calender Road when the truck somehow veered off the roadway. This purportedly caused the vehicle to collide with a fire hydrant and roll multiple times before coming to a stop in a ditch.

Afshin Mirhosseini, 28, was purportedly pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. Officials say there were no additional occupants inside the truck.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
