Pedro Morales Febres, Maria Legon Jimenez Injured in Car Accident in Austin, TX

Austin, TX — July 28, 2023, Pedro Morales Febres and Maria Jimenez was injured following a car accident at around 3:12 a.m. along Lamar Boulevard.

Authorities said in their initial statements that the crash happened in the area of North Lamar Boulevard and West Parmer Lane.

According to officials, 65-year-old Pedro Morales Febres and 64-year-old Maria Legon Jimenez were in a Toyota Camry that was going westbound along Parmer Lane. While crossing through the intersection, the Camry was hit by a northbound Chevy Silverado. Both vehicles spun out due to the collision.

Current information indicates that both Morales Febres and Jimenez had apparently incapacitating injuries due to the crash. Details about the Silverado driver have not been clarified, including their name, age, and possible injuries.

Authorities did mention that the Silverado driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, but no further information can be confirmed right now.
