Dale Renauld Hill Injured in 18-wheeler Accident in Chambers County, TX

Chambers County, TX — August 8, 2023, Dale Renauld Hill was injured as the result of an 18-wheeler accident at around 3:50 p.m. along Interstate 10.

Authorities said that the incident took place along westbound lanes of I-10 in the area of mile marker 809.

According to initial statements from officials, 34-year-old Dale Renauld Hill appeared to have been the driver of a Ford F-150 that was stopped along the inside shoulder of westbound I-10. While there, authorities say that a passing 18-wheeler failed to maintain its lane, hitting Hill and the parked vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Hill sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. There did not appear to be any other resulting injuries. The reason for the truck supposedly leaving its lane is unconfirmed at this time. Investigations are ongoing.
