Amanda Cook Injured in Truck Accident in Wood County, TX

Wood County, TX — August 3, 2023, Amanda Cook was injured due to a truck accident at around 7:55 a.m. along Farm-to-Market 14.

Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened at the intersection of F.M. 14 and F.M. 49.

According to officials, 28-year-old Amanda Cook was said to be in a Honda CR-V which was reportedly going northbound along F.M. 14. At F.M. 49, authorities allege that an eastbound Dodge Ram truck failed to yield at a stop sign and crashed with Cook's vehicle.

Details suggest that Cook had injuries which appeared to be incapacitating as a result of the crash. There were no other reported injuries. Authorities recommended citations relating to alleged failure to yield. Right now, they have yet to release additional details.
