One Injured in a Dual Truck Accident on NC Highway 24-27 in Stanly County, NC

Stanly County, NC — August 22, 2023, a 63-year-old male truck driver was injured in a collision with a dump truck around 2 p.m. on NC Hwy. 24-27 between Stanly and Montgomery County.

According to authorities, a Chambers Trucking dump truck and an 18-wheeler collided when the Chambers Trucking dump truck allegedly failed to yield the right of way.

The 63-year-old semi-truck driver was reportedly transported to Atrium Health Concord with non-life-threatening injuries.
