San Antonio, TX — August 22, 2023, a man was killed in a train collision near Roosevelt Avenue and East Mitchell Street in San Antonio, TX.

Authorities say that on August 22, a fatal collision occurred when a man was struck by a train in San Antonio. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 3:30 in the afternoon. Sources say the man was struck by a train, but not at a railroad crossing. The crash reportedly occurred near Roosevelt Avenue and East Mitchell Road.

As investigators determine the cause of the accident, very few details have been released at this time. Officials confirmed the victim, a 20-year-old man who has not been identified, suffered fatal injuries.
