One Injured in Semi-Truck Accident near Marlin, TX

Marlin, TX — August 22, 2023, one person was injured in a semi-truck collision at a home off Highway 7 near Marlin, TX.

Authorities indicate that on August 22, a collision occurred when, for unknown reasons, a semi-truck crashed into a house off Highway 7, east of Marlin. According to reports, the accident happened at approximately 2:30 in the morning.

Investigators say the semi-truck was traveling along Highway 7 when it suddenly left the roadway and crashed into a residence. Sources say there were no people inside the home when the crash occurred.

Investigators have not determined the cause of the accident, and few details have been released. Officials confirmed the semi-truck driver was flown to an area hospital, but the extent of the injuries is unknown. No other injuries were reported.
