Carlos Cortez Callente Killed, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — July 29, 2023, Carlos Cortez Callente was killed and another was injured following an accident at around 3:16 a.m. on Loop 12.

Preliminary information about the accident said that it happened along Walton Walker Boulevard in the area of Stillwell Boulevard.

Current details available about the crash say that 27-year-old Carlos Cortez Callente and an unidentified 22-year-old were in a Ford F-150 that was going southbound on Loop 12. For reasons not confirmed right now, the vehicle went off the side of the road where it overturned along the median.

Due to the accident, Cortez Callente sustained fatal injuries. The other occupant in the vehicle was said to have non-incapacitating injuries. Reports mentioned no other injuries nor any other vehicles being involved in the wreck. Right now, no further details can be confirmed.
