Zachary Ennis Birdwell Killed in Car Accident in Livingston, TX

Polk County, TX — June 12, 2023, Zachary Ennis Birdwell sustained fatal injuries as the result of a car accident at around 9:01 a.m. along U.S. Highway 59.

According to preliminary information released by the authorities, the fatal crash happened in the area of the U.S. 59 and Church Street intersection.

Investigators said that 25-year-old Zachary Ennis Birdwell was in a GMC pickup said to be going southbound along the highway. The vehicle apparently went off the side of the road on a curve where it then overturned.

Birdwell was partially ejected from the vehicle, according to authorities. As a result, Birdwell reportedly sustained fatal injuries. There were no others said to have been involved in the wreck. Additional details about the cause of the accident can't be confirmed at this time.
