Emiliano Alfredo Marin Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Killeen, TX

Killeen, TX — August 19, 2023, Emiliano Alfredo Marin sustained fatal injuries as the result of a pedestrian accident early Saturday on I-14.

Preliminary investigations released in the news indicated that the incident happened at approximately 3:39 a.m. near mile marker 285 of westbound Interstate 14.

Right now, details suggest that 41-year-old Emiliano Alfredo Marin was walking at the time and was believed to be along or in westbound lanes. While there, a vehicle struck Marin, then reportedly stopped and called for emergency responders.

Marin died as a result of the collision. There were no other confirmed injuries mentioned in reports. There's also no indication at this time that authorities plan to file charges or make an arrest. Factors surrounding the fatal accident remain under investigation.
