Khayden Joseph Pitre Killed in Car Accident on F.M. 1488 in The Woodlands, TX

UPDATE (August 28, 2023): Investigators identified the victim in the accident as 18-year-old Khayden Joseph Pitre. Right now, no further information about the crash is available.

The Woodlands, TX — August 21, 2023, a teenager sustained fatal injuries due to a single-vehicle accident before midnight on F.M. 1488.

Details in the news said that the incident happened at around 11:33 p.m. near the intersection of F.M. 1488 and College Park Drive.

It appears Montgomery County officials were called to the area after a car crashed and overturned off-road. Statements at this time say the driver was an 18-year-old. Somehow, the vehicle lost control and ran off-road where it crashed into a pole. This then resulted in the vehicle catching fire.

The 18-year-old died as a result of the crash. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash. Authorities continue their investigations.
