Billy Christopher, Taneisha Johnson, Child Injured in Truck Accident in Richardson, TX

Richardson, TX — July 31, 2023, Billy Christopher, Taneisha Johnson, and a child were injured due to a truck accident at 5:57 a.m. on Central Expressway.

Preliminary information about the accident released by officials indicates that the collision happened along the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 75 just off Renner Road.

According to authorities, 35-year-old Billy Christopher, 34-year-old Taneisha Johnson, and an 11-year-old girl were said to be in a Jeep Cherokee that was going along the Central Expressway. Their vehicle reportedly came to a stop along the expressway after an initial, apparently minor collision. It appears that an approaching Mack truck did not control speed, causing it to slam into the Jeep.

Due to the collision, Christopher reportedly had incapacitating injuries. The conditions of Johnson and the child were not confirmed. It does not appear anyone else was hurt. At this time, additional details about factors leading up to the crash are unclear.
