Man Injured in Vehicle Accident on Winters Freeway in Abilene, TX

Abilene, TX — August 21, 2023, a man was injured in a vehicle collision in the northbound lanes of Winters Freeway in Abilene, TX.

Authorities indicate that on August 21, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a man was struck while crossing the road in Abilene. According to police, the man attempted to cross Winters Freeway with his bike in hand when an oncoming vehicle hit him. Sources say the collision happened at approximately 1:30 in the afternoon.

Officials confirmed the man, whose name has not been released, was taken to a hospital. The extent of the man's injuries is unknown. No additional information is currently available.
